OVERSEER^® comprises two separate models:

• Small Block – suitable for small pastoral blocks and as an introduction to the full Nutrient Budgets model
• Nutrient Budgets – for more complex farming systems and includes pastoral and cropping (vegetable, arable, fruit) capability

The Nutrient Budgets model within OVERSEER^® allows farms to comprise one or more management blocks (defined as an area of the farm that has common physical and management attributes). Nine separate types of management block are available:

• Pastoral
• Fodder crop
• Cut and carry
• Fruit
• Vegetable or Arable cropping
• Trees and scrub
• Riparian
• Wetland
• House

The model calculates budgets for each separate management block and a whole farm weighted average.
